TECHnically, it was a sucess. In reality, it was a mess. Specifically, the MODS I tested were: Zex 75 shot, 3.73 gears and the TrueTrac LSD. The test I chose was a drag race. The final number was a 14.2 in the quarter mile at 98MPH. The MODS gave me great PERFORMANCE. You can read my full write up, which the mods thoughtfully moved here:

It's SO NICE to see how your MANY MODS to your 4.0 have worked...
Dude, if you had posted that in the drag race section, I would never have seen it!

It's so great to see how all of these mods work together to attain a certain level of performance. From a technical standpoint, it's really quite interesting and relevant to my interest regarding the 2005 V6 Mustang.
And, I agree with Hambone... had this pertinent information been posted in another forum, I probably would have missed it.
Thank you for this valuable post!

If all you guys do is look in the V6 section you are missing out on a lot of information. Oh well, that is your choice.

The biggest problem with posting drag racing results in the drag racing section when you're driving a V6 is the inevitable comments, "dude, you should have got a V8!" and, "man, my stock GT is faster than that, lolol". And then if you want anyone here to see it you'd have to make a duplicate post here telling people to check it out. We're a pretty tight knit group here and most of us only do look at this section.

and I am sure most of you can ignore comments like that made by v8 owners. I for one don't care what someone has, as I am a mustang fan regardless of the engine inside it (well, unless you drop a GM motor in there then we have a problem )
You are right, the V6 crowd does seem to be a tight knit group, however, that is no different than the GT crowd and neither group is treated differently than the other as far as the site staff is concerned.

Also, before I get too off-topic ... try the "New Posts" feature. It'll let you see post from other areas conventiently.
And, on topic, nice numbers!

I regularly read V6 performance as well, I normally just hit the View New Posts above to see what everyone is up too. The Mods going on your V6's sometimes make me think, I should of had a V6.
But thats just my 2 cents, I just enjoy the thrill of the Prusuit of Performance and Jaw dropping looks.

I actually use this feature a lot and you will see me posting a bit in the exterior mods section!
