Some questions on long tubes

Ok, I have tried to do some research, but am coming accross all different kinds of answers.

The back story: I have a Vortech supercharger. I am thinking about getting long tube headers. I already have went to an H-pipe dual exhaust system. Are long tubes good for this application? I have also heard that long tubes affect ground clearence. True? My car is lowered, so this may be a problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

LT's will give you gains with F/I especially. Not sure about ground clearance though since the only ones available right now are Macs.

I am working with Kooks headers in developing a set of LT's for the V6 as I type this. They will be offered with either an O/R or high flow catted X or H pipe. I will post more info when it is available.

I have the MAC LT's, I do not have ground clearance issues with the headers, the Prochamber will drag on speed bumps though. My car is lowered also.
