What is the difference between the "custom tune" and the "87 tune"? Did the 87 tune come with the device? If so, only use the custom tune you presumably paid for. No sense paying for a tune then using the stock tune that came with the device.

Thomas ! You can only upload your car with only one tune at a time.. You cannot use multiple tunes at the same time..

So you either use your 87 octane tune, or your custom tune.. If for some reason your not happy with your 87 octane tune ? You can then put in your custom tune..

Just make certain that if your custom tune requires fuel that is higher than 87 octane ? you must make sure there's no 87 octane left in your tank first !

Joey ! I believe what Thomas has is the X-CAL III programmer that has Bama custom tune files, which include tunes for 87, 91 and 93 octane fuels..

From my understanding.. Thomas purchased his tuning files from Bama performance and then E-mailed him the tuning files to upload into his device..

Got the tuner to work now will yhe tuner cause the car when u start it to die then when u give it gas it stay started

 

I don't quite understand your question, so can you clarify or break down your question ?

 

When i start the car it will die unless i give it somr gas then its fine

 

If this problem didn't start until after you downloaded your new tuning files ?

Then you need to contact Bama tech support and let them know what's going on with your car !

 

I found out wat was the problem

I had to replace all my 02 sensors

 

Wonder what caused all your 02 sensors to go bad ? Usually only one 02 sensor at a time ends up going bad, but not all 4 at the same time..

Out of curiosity, how many miles are on your Mustang and what other modifications did you have done before getting your SCT tuner and Bama tuning files ?

 

It has 130 thousand miles all it has is a cold air intake and true duel exhaust

 

Being as your car has over 100,000.00 miles, I can understand why your 02 sensors needed replaced.. With such high mileage, I'm surprised they didn't go bad sooner..
