So, this lady I know is in town and wants to take me to dinner. I have told her that I modded my car and she wants me to drive and see what it feels like now. I don't even have 100 miles on the TT or gears, so I don't want to peel put or anything, so I am darting through traffic, but nothing crazy. Anyway, after dinner (Lebanese Tavern in Arlington, which is GREAT BTW), I pull ot of the parking lot and am beginning to accelerate in 1st gear, (am probably at 10-15 MPH) when the light turns yellow. I mash the gas pedal, not even to the floor, mind you, and with NO HESITATION WHATSOEVER, the car bolts forward, slamming us both into our seats, the TCS light flashing, and I am at 6,000 RPMs and through the light before I can blink. WOW! I can't wait to put 93 Octane in this baby! Just had to share this with my fellow Stangers!

Reduces wheel spin. Basically it provides power to both wheels if they start breaking loose (the factory differential provides no power to the other wheel if one is spinning.

Exactly. It is a very strong, stable limited slip differential. What I like about the TT is that it uses worm gears and has no cluthc plates. It also splits power 70/30 in a turn, whereas lockers provide 100% to the inside wheel. It is a very good system (but not the best) and is capable of handling a lot of HP.

Sweet dude!!! Yep, I love the gears/diff upgrade, you can really feel it. Just wait til you can take her from a dead stop, and spin those tires. You will love it!

Congrats!

Also, good choice in restaurants! I know that one, used to go there a good bit.

Give it up! Just duct tape the pedal to the floor.

Can't wait to see what your steed will do after one of Chris' tunes! With those 4.10s and new shift points, the cops will be sitting on 28 looking for the black stang...

Have to be careful on 28, yesterday I drove by a white camaro police intercepter. I noticed the police intercepter emblem, then saw the cop in uniform.

No way I would mess with that car, they do a good job modding those cars...and I hear some of them are sc/tc.

LOL!!! He's gotta keep something for himself.. When I had my 88 Saleen Mustang, my passenger seat was ruined from a situation like this..

I'm quite sure he is trying his best to remove any stains on his passenger seat as we speak...

My last law exam is tomorrow evening, so it is a "To be continued..." No fun until the work is done! But then three weeks of seat cleaning!!! There IS something more intoxicating than that "new car" smell....

LOL. Like they say, get the stang.....

....and the women will flock. Or something like that, but I know the ladies definitely dig the new stangs. Get looks all the time from them.
