Those who have installed this conversion. Did you like it or you rather go the other route? I am debating if i am going to buy this.

I would go with a H pipe setup, fab up some GT take off exhaust. Give it a deeper sound.

What kind of mufflers did you install with the kit??

Do you have a sound clip?

I have the MRT-areoturbine mufflers. They are pretty loud but they can also drone quite a bit, which can get annoying at times.

I do not have any sound clips at the moment, because my camera is broken, but all I can say is that after installing the duels, my exhaust note has got significantly deeper.

I found this kit...
http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...0%201&comp=LRS

It comes with the x-pipe, both pipes going over the axle, and hangers. Just add mufflers!

That looks to be pretty good as well. What are the advantages of having an X-pipe versus the Y-pipe?

well it gives a better sound/performance I think, because everythings not coming into one pipe then out again. Instead, the xpipe blends the 2 things with low restriction. Is somewhat bad bc of low backpressure which our engine needs. It is good if you plan a future of some FI. I know rpmoutlet doesnt have a good rep, but they have the pypes kit with xpipe, midpipes, hangers, clamps, mufflers (what I have, but didnt get from them) for 360 I believe, shipped. Its worth it, because even if you decide that the mufflers that come with it is too loud, its going to be the same price, but at least you have something you can sell on ebay for another set of mufflers.

I tried contacting RPM Outlet and never got an answer. I've also sent several emails enquiring about their product, still, no luck. I've heard a lot of reports that aren't so good with that company.
I ordered Pypes True Dual System with Street Legal x-pipe from V6 Mustang Stuff to go with the two GT Takeoff mufflers that I already have.

Exactly why I didn't order my Hurst shifter from RPM Outlet. Heard too many bad things about them to order from them. I'm sure you'll get your stuff, just not any customer service to go along with it! Good luck with everything.

Yes, I bought two GT Mufflers from a guy who upgraded his exhaust. V6 Mustang Stuff will send you the x-pipe, mid pipe, clamps and hangers....all you need to do is either get a shop to install it or do it yourself. Did you cut your bumper or are you getting a GT bumper?

I am planning on cutting the bumper first to see how that looks, if i dont like the look or something goes wrong I will probably go get a new aftermarket rear bumper. Im also planning on using the Borla Stingers for my mufflers. Does anyone have any info or experience on how this setup would sound? Thanks!
