New Times !

MPH stayed the same 95-96 , but had a 14.42 and a 14.39 both with 1.99 60' times. Running new BFG P275/40/17 DRs... Still spinning some out of the hole but much better. Surprised several older GTs running 14.6s....

That is amazing. You're invading GT territory, N/A.

Yes the Drs worked very well after 7 runs they were starting to get better. They were brand new and they need a few heat cycles to get broke in so to speak. We were going to try some 104 unleaded and the Full Race file but didn't have time due to another car oiling the track... So maybe next weekend.

So you werent doin the race gas this time? or only the race gas?

We were running the 93 Octane file. I had added 2 degrees spark above 4000 and leaned it 2% but it slowed down. I added 4% fuel back in and it ran its best, this was after a 35 min cooldown. We added 3 gallons 104 unleaded and ended up not running the Race File which has the Knock sensor off. We did drive it home that way It felt quite a bit stronger up top. Hopefully next time...
I think the DRs really made the differeance, regardless of tune they hooked well.

Thats awesome. I wish i had access to sealevel tracks. I ordered my dr's this morning, the nitto 555rs (same as on the cobra, but a 275 not a 315). Also going to give the UCA a shot.

Sweet times indeed! You mention your tune. You have your own shop, or access to a dyno? Whats the story, and what kind of numbers are you generating? Any tips on tunes.

so you're dr's helped a lot. If i recall correctly your 14.49 was on racing gas.

The 14.49 had a gallon of let over C16 from last session. I have never ran a full race gas mix. Just enough to deter an detonation. On the 93 Octane tune this time around I had a 1/2 tank of 93 Sunoco. When it went to a 1/4 tank I add 3 gallons of 104 unleaded but as stated above I didn't get any runs in.

Yes I am Full SCT dealer and have access to several dynos. I am not a supporting Vendor on here so I don't advertize. I had it on a Dyno last year once. With CIA and tune it was a hair over 201 rwhp. I do most of my tuning on the track through logging and wideband readings. I don't own a Dyno and have found the best results just logging 1/4 runs. I do most of my work over on Modular Ford and SVT Performance. Not a lot of V-6 dedicated boards.
