seach around here you will find plenty of info. First off I would invest in a intake and tuner. then save up and get a v-8 car when you get a chance.

you can call American muscle, steeda, brenspeed or one of the many other supporting vendors here at TMS. Intaks and a tune usally come as a kit. Its removing your current air filter and air box and air tube that goes from the air box to your engine and installing a new bigger filter and tube. Then you reprogram your cars computer with a tuner.

Do you notice that the dyno test from american muscle has the stock 05 v6 rated at 167 hp? Ford says its rated at 210 hp. Have you heard anything about that? If its true its disappointing.

ford states hp at the engine and AM states hp at the rear wheels. TQ is the important one with a 6er. Drive it like a grandma.

The best setup for the 6-cylinders:
Dual exhaust with Flowmaster American Thunder mufflers, a JLT cold air intake, and a 93 octane high performance tune. Go to americanmuscle.com and watch their V6 project car on the dyno.

It's 210hp at the crank and 167 at the wheels. After all those mods you'll get 200hp at the wheels and 250ft lbs of torque.

Thanks for the info. I will look at all the vids on the AM website and youtube. Im getting tired of all these honda tuners peeling out when I pull up next to them. Which brings another question. You guys think the stock v6 will beat the early to late 90s hoda civics with intakeand exaust mods? Again thank you for the info.

Once I get out of class I'll go out and make a quick video. I'll hopefully have it up today.
