Ok... I called Lidio today and told him I need an emergency dyno session! As I mentioned last night I could have sworn the new MRT axle back seemed to make a difference in the higher RPMs... Well, Lidio managed to work me in this afternoon!

So Lidio walks into the dyno bay... (the cars already strapped down) He starts the car up and says "WOW!" hehehehe... We made a couple of pulls while the car was still hot from my 90 minute drive... then we let the car cool down for about 20 minutes... I get my camcorder out... and Lidio makes the pull... The results..... drumroll please!!!

Peak HP: 200.8
Peak TQ: 229

Woohoo!!!! The 194 curse is broken!!! Thank you, Scott!!! Even hot the car was at 197... The MRT single Axle back has given me a good 7RWHP gain and it even increased my Torque!!!! Double WOOHOO!!

Now take a close look at the graph.. there is 7RWHP gain at peak... but look a gain in the 5500 to 6000 RPM range... my car is shifting at abotu 5800 to 5900... so it will be taking advantage of the gain.. which is over 10RWHP at these RPMS! These gains are over my Magnaflow! Lidio was absolutely amazed! He laughed and said "if your butt dyno says the gain is there and my dyno says the gain is there...well, then the gain is there!"

Here's todays sheet (vs the Magnaflow from last month)

here a video of the dyno pull (10MB)

Dyno Video

I'll try and get a good drive by video (weather permitting)

Wooohoo! Way cool man...

Now, are SURE all the gain is from the exhaust and NOT the louvers? Did you do a before/after with the louvers? That's a variable that you didn't control in your experiment. I want to see numbers!! LOL.

Maybe tomorrow eve I can share a dyno sheet...

Congrats on breaking the 200 threshold!!

Congratulations, John! Glad to see you back in the game!!! I knew you couldn't give up THAT easily!

BTW, you're probably 250+ at the crank.

You are a pioneer, an auto to break 200 RWHP SAE. You have given me something to work towards.

This is just so friggin awesome.

I never believed you when you said you were done! I should have bet money on this. LOL.

I'm still speechless, you broke 200. This is earth shattering for us Autos!

That is impressive with only those mods w/o power adders.
You do the pulls with 89 octane right?

Thanks! Lidio thinks we should be able to pick up 8 to 10 on the nitrous too! We didn't spray today... It was really late.. and when it's cold like this the bottles really don't get warm enough... LOL! But with this gain it should knock about a tenth of the car's ET!

Yeah, it's the 89 tune or very close... we might have added a degree or two... seems you can't push the timing much on the automatics for some reason... Doug found the same thing... I do however run 91 o 93 gas... I've seen the spark knock sensor actually ADD a degree or two so i'll run the higher octane.... probably not worth it but you never know when you might have to spray! (which requires 91+) LOL!

We never did any testing with the stock vs the Magnaflow... but considering my car was at 184 the other day with the stock air box and stock tune I got to believe you'll be up at least 10RWHP...

Would gains be similar for a dual set up system? Dang that sounds good with just single exhaust...Well if sound and gains would be similar I would definetely be in for a system.

Gains look very consistent across the power band too. You mentioned extreme cold weather, could that have contributed to gains, or was that factored out (SAE)?
