Hey, I've read several posts on the "mustang" decal stickers on the sides of the car, and I'm still undecided whether I want to keep them or remove them. I think the only way that I can really make up my mind is if I actually see a black 05 v6 Mustang in person that doesn't have the stickers. So far I havn't seen any where I'm from, and this is making me want to take them off even more because no one around here has one without the stickers. I mean it's not going to change the apperance of the car I guess, the car's still going to look freakin awesome regardless, but I dunno I just need to see them side by side in order to make up my mind. But I guess until I see one in person, that if some of you that have a black stang without the stickers on the sides, if you dont mind I'd love to see some pics of them. Before and after pics would be great. Thanks.

I had the dealer remove mine. That white stripe on a black car just doesn't look right imo.

Couldn't you just look at a GT from the side and get an idea? Just without the "GT"?

One great thing about black is that the rocker panel is the same color. I think its a much cleaner look (like the gt) and am thinkin bout painting mine.
FYI mine never came with those stripes, even though it had the spoiler and what not.

Here's some pics of mine, before and after. I've added GT Premium wheels and also removed the side panel stripe, making for a much cleaner look. Not sure I would feel the same way if I still had the V6 rims.

I think the stripe goes with some colors and some it doesn't. I like your white stripe. Also I like the black rocker panels on the v6 . I wish they would come out with a black rear fascia LIKE THE COBRA awwwww !!!
The stripe in the right color beefs up the v6 IMO.

When I first bought mine (v6, black) I didn't want the stripes. However, I knew they would be pretty simple to remove, plus my salesman thought they looked sharp and kinda broke up the look of the black a little bit.

I figured I'd give it a few weeks and see if it grew on me since it's much easier to remove them later than to reapply them if I don't like it without.

After about a week or two I really started to like them. Even if I had a GT, I'd probably have them applied to that car.

To me the stripes on my car sets it off. I like the look. Of course, everyone has their own opinion, so just do what you feel is right.

It will look great either way....
