Anyone have a clip or just personal experience with direct replacement short tube headers? I emailed PowerHouse411 and they said LT's won't be compatible with their turbo kit so I'll have to stick with direct replacement headers. Anyone know what kind of sound I should expect from MAC headers or even the JBA ones?

Thanks

The powerhouse turbo won't come with headers?

The powerhouse turbo won't come with headers? dunno.gif
Mike Bowen from PH411 emailed me back saying this...

Yes, any stock replacement headers will be fine.
Our kit comes with a replacement mid-pipe, it is actually a splitter pipe that splits our single 3in down pipe to two 2.5in mid pipes that in turn connects to a any dual cat back setup.
So I guess no headers

Oh and those JBA's sound pretty nice, can't wait to get my MACs installed then

Jimp, Gash... thanks!

Gash... the jba shorties are a direct replacement of the stock headers. I wonder if they'll work. I think the MAC's are the same too.

yes both products are direct replacements for the stock headers. i really do like the tone of your car though, I can pick it apart and I can tell that the headers make a positive difference in the exhaust tone, lets off a nice muscle-car growl

But anyways, I think this means that the kit comes with some sort of O-R pipe so buying an X or H pipe won't be necessary if you're getting this system...I THINK.
