Just purchased a new exhaust

I just purchased the Flowmaster 817510 Force II Catback for the 05-09 Mustang V6 to replace my Dynomax 39434 true dual catback. Along with the flowmaster I will be putting a set of Top speed performance shorty headers on the car. I figured since I highly doubt that my 09 Pony will ever see boost that the 2.25" exhaust will be more than sufficient.

Awesome choice! The Flowmaster Force II Catback sounds great on the Sixxers. The 2.25" exhaust will be plenty for an NA bolt on V6! Even if you went supercharged, that'd probably do the trick.

Definitely post up some sound clips when everything's installed. We'd love to check it out!

Thanks Dan, I wanted to purchase through AM but I found it of all places through autozone.com and with the 20% code I got it for $551.19 shipped. My cousin has this same setup on his 06 V6 5spd and it sounds great.

No worries! Keep in mind we do offer price matching. Let me know if you need any assistance in the future!

I would actually expect to pick up a little low end with the smaller exhaust, just my personal theory here. You're replacing a restrictive single 2.5" system which is trying to flow out of both banks of the engine with a dual 2.25" system which is only flow 1 bank of engine. So in my personal theory the car is still getting better exhaust flow. I could be totally wrong on that theory though....
