JLT intakes now available for the V6 Mustangs

Hey guys,

JLT has finally got their intake design down and ready to ship. I've got one on hand but haven't had a chance to test it yet, looking into that this weekend.

What I can say is that I tested one of their previous models earlier this year and when Jay, the owner, heard that it wasn't making the power that it should or what is average from these kits he scraped the design and went back to the drawing board. He didn't put out a low Hp version just to have everyone nail him on it but rather took the time and the added effort to remake the intake and come up with a better design. From what he says he's made 10-12 rwhp and around the same Rwtq from this kit which I plan on verifing soon. From the new design and from what we talked about I can definatly see the improvement.

The kit is a plastic intake pipe with a billet MAF sensor housing. It has a wrap around heat sheild that supports the weight of the entire kit nicely.

The price is great starting at only $199 or with a X-2 at $575.

Hey Larry, up for a new dynotune?? ahahhaah....Anyone in my area looking for a dynotune and willing to purchase a X-2 please let me know.

Thanks, Doug.

I want one!!!!! And I'm broke.

I can only hope that I can return whatever anyone gets me for my birthday this Sunday and get the scratch necessary that way.

I ended up getting one from evolution performance and It made a nice difference in throttle response and overall car feels like it has more instant response. I was missing some pieces with my kit among other complications but all was taken care of. I'm using the 93 octane extreme tune and its great, i was getting 24-25 mpg last time i checked. I may start using the 87 octane tune and see if there is any difference.

JLT INTAKE...Dyno Results!!!!!!!

Hey all,

Just in case you guys want to see the results, I've got them. My car was the test mule for Jay's new V-6 kit. I drove down to his shop in VA beach and he installed it, slapped a tune on it and put it on the dyno, HUGE difference in the feel and throttle response, Feels like a lot more low end torque too. Results below. BTW other than the tune and intake the car is bone stock.
