Are those the "true" duals or the Y pipe duals??? Either way it looks good!!! Reason I ask is that the driver side on mine sits a little lower than the passenger side. Not by much but enough for me to notice. Also the driver side tailpipe sticks out about 3/8 of an inch more than the passenger side. It looks like yours are doing the same. I'm not criticizing here, just looks that way and I seem to have the same small but noticable problem!!!!

How much did you have to pay for the GT rear valance? Did you have it painted to match? How tuff to install???
Brian.

A GT rear bumper costs in the neighborhood of $200-220.

Answering a couple different questions..
I had my bumper painted to match. Total cost of bumper, paint and install was $600. The duals are JBA's first dual offering with the y pipe. They released their true duals just after I got mine delivered... go figure.
The driver side sits just a bit lower. My installer said he had a heck of a time getting them that close. Matches up well enough that I'm happy with it. Unless you're low to the ground, looking straight on, it's really not noticeable. I haven't noticed any difference in length (how much they stick out).
I may convert to true duals later on.. maybe remove the cats too... but, that's a bit later down the road. Up next is an intake.

Hi Hamid,
Thanks for the update. I think I am going to start with my duals first, and just cut-out my Valance on the left side. Randy's Muffler up here in Marysville, WA will put in a set of dual 2.25" diameter pipes with cross-over, and MagnaFlow Mufflers for about $400 total. He does great work, and that is a great price.
So one final question; does the stock V6 pipe exit at about the same location as the right V8 pipe? That way, if I symmetrically balance the location of the left exhaust tip with the right, I can come back in later with a GT Valance. I may find that the cut-out V6 Valance doesn't look so good after a while, but I want to see how well I can do to start ($600 is pretty spendy).
Thanks; Brian.

Oh man, sounds HOT. I cannot wait till I get my JBA true duals. I can only imagine what they will be like.
I also am going to just cut the valance and get a GT one at a later tiem after more "important" mods.

Thanks to all of you... I'm really liking this mod. I think the key was the headers (which I've had on for a few months)... that really opens up performance (duals or single) and fires up the sound levels.
True duals are going to sound even better!

I got a front and rear bumper, grill w/ fogs, side skirts, and 2 GT mufflers shipped and already painted for $775 from Casco. So I bet you could get a good deal on just a rear bumper if someone was looking for one. They are not hard to install.

I got both my headers and duals from http://www.v6mustangstuff.com/05V6Headers.htm
The headers were about $620 for the titanium finish, ceramic coated. The chrome finish headers are much less.

I must be getting old...thats sounds well, not good. Am I the only one that thinks an exhaust shouldn't pop and ALMOST backfire, on decel? I mean the stock Ford exhaust doesn't pop and crack on decel. I think these after market exhaust system designers have been around to many rice burners. They need to listen to some vintage Detriot Iron to fiqure out how an american muscle car should sound on accel and decel. Just my opinion......
