JBA Dual Exhaust Installed

Muffler shop also fabbed up an H-pipe.

I'm very happy with it. Sounds great so far, sounds awesome on the freeway at WOT.

I want to paint the mufflers black now.

Painting them black would not be a bad idea with your car, especially with the chrome tips on the end.
I think that would look nice.

The only thing that might be an issue is how well the paint holds up with all the rocks and other things that would hit the mufflers all the time.
It might make it a PITA to keep doing touch ups on the muffler.

Look for something that is heat resistant should be ok.
500 degree paint should be more than enough.
I know Rust-Oleum makes some and so does VHT both of these can be found at a Walmart or a parts store.

I used this on my Xcharger.

This is a little extreme for the muffler but it will give you an idea.

black by popular demand

Yes! paint them black, your ride looks sweet. Duplicolor make an engine paint that has ceramic in it so it will be more durable, the ceramic will bake on, should be long lasting, painted my small block in my 64, never
had any gripes
.

You did a great job on the black paint, looks way much better!

A job well done! You should be proud of the appearance and someone did an excellent job on your bumper as well - looks factory.

How?

How did you get to bolt the hanger to the body? I mean, what size is the bolt? Did you buy it from ford? I got the extra stock bolt from the passenger side and it's loose.

Please help. I just installed mine and temporarily used an ordinary bolt.

Thanks

I got the JBA true dual h-pipe for my car in october, finally installed it in december, and just tuesday installed a GT takeoff bumper. I must be lazy or something, but the point is, you'll love the difference it makes. Take her under a bridge in second and give it some gas, it'll really make you appreciate those dual pipes.
