Yesterday I recieved my SCT X-Cal2 from Alternative Auto. I have to say this is by far one of the best upgrades you can give your v6. As Scrming had posted once the upgrade is installed it will chrip through the first three gears when WOT! Also the thorttle hesitation that is present with the drive by wire is completey eliminated.

The X-CAL2 came with two programs. One for 89 octane and one for 92 octane. I flashed mine for 89 octane and proceeded to WOT around town for roughly six hours! The performance was way more then I expected.

Thanks to Scrming for recommending such an awsome tune!

I have not upgrade to the firmware that allow you to use the x-cal2 to make changes to the car directly... I still use my laptop..

I'll try to ask Lidio about the CAI's... I'm not speaking for Lidio or ALternative but I think if you get an X-Cal2 and have access to a laptop you could put the CAI , capture some data, send it to Lidio and he could make the necessary adjustment.... I could be way off base here so don't quote me on it... LOL! I will try to ask him about the CAI in any case...
