Thanks. So, if I'm not going to be doing any 1/4 mile runs at a track and only using it on the street would it be better to get the 3.73 gears?
Also, I've found a few places to get the tlok and gears but did not see any bearing kits offered. Any advice on those and references on who's a good place to get this stuff from or should the shop that does the install normally have that?
Thanks again!

I'm jumping in here. So the 3.73's will spin faster then stock, but not as fast as the 4.10's, correct? My main thought now is that are the 3.73's worth it for me? I say yes because I am going to put on the T-loc so while i'm at it I should put on new gears to give me a little extra edge. On the other hand I realyl don't plan on racing this car. There are no tracks around here at all and I will not street race. I still have until the spring to decide though.
If you will not be racing at all I would stick with your stock gears, but if you want to change then 3.73's will do nicely.

Rygen,
Thanks for the info. With the C&L intake and an SCT tune from Doug that I am planning as well as the tlok and gears I can't wait to feel what the V6 will do!

The tlok and gears are my favorite mod to date. You can really feel the difference in the car. So much so that it annoys me that Ford didn't include the TLOK stock.

It seems like most manufacturers of vehicles of any kind won't make them they way we want them but then that gives us the fun of doing all these mods ourselves and getting our hands dirty! I've had the same experiences with my motorcycles.

hp is not lost, it could read a bit different on a dyno because of the ratio change, but the actual power you have to keep you going will remain unaffected.
Unless the new gears have more mass that stock, then there could be a slight decrease due to the slight increase in driveline loss, but the actual ratio won't have anything to do with it.

I believe the type of fluid you use is going to affect it too, but I couldnt go into detail on it.
