I'm already off to a great start, though I sure as heck can't compete with screamin'!!

- Flowmaster Duals w/H-pipe: $557
- K&N Intake: $245
- Stage II ProCharger: $3809
- Detroit TrueTrac: $450

Total: $5061

Not too bad. It would be worse if I had everything installed. Could never do the exhaust on my own, though......

As per my sig, I've spent a whopping $100...but as you can see from my list, of future mods, I will be joining most of you as soon as I pay down some cc debt!

Man, it's hard not getting stuff while surfing this forum!!

Okay, I'm gonna look like a penny pincher compared to you big spenders!

Exhaust (GT-take offs, Magnflow Xi-pipe, all pipes/parts, installation) $475

Xcal2 + CAI from JMS (big mistake with these tunes, but the CAI
was essentially free because of a sale) $400

Tunes from Alternative Auto and C&L intake $415

Keyless keypad $100

Total --- about $1400

I'd really like to add a T-lok, so that will probably be my next mod in the next several months...

I think it would be interesting to see how much we are spending on waxes, polishes, microfiber, cleaners, soap, etc.!!!!

For those of you who've spent over 5000 on mods, the question is: Why not the V8 mustang?

I bet it's possible to get decent GT 17" rims for the stock 16's at a salvage yard. Prolly with the tires included... prolly for around 200.

Actually, I'm still 2k under the cost of a GT in my area. The markup is that bad, not sure if it still is. Besides, a lot of these mods are appearance, you know, making the steed your own. I got my GT rims for really cheap as well thanks to Casco. Regardless of engine size, I would have spent this much on my stang regardless, I'm simply....

....addicted. LOL.

It's all about individuality... besides like Rygen said certain area GT's are at a real Premium... Nonetheless after all said and done I probably close to a GT price... but it's also going to put down alot more hp and tq when I'm done ... and oh yeah... be alot lighter and faster ....

It's all about the mod's - regardless of the engine
