My wife was complaining about how much I've spent so far on my car. She was guessing over $3000. I added it up, not an exact figure but I'm right at $4100!!! My car is great right now, but still... I think I need to slow down or just plain stop! I had planned to go with a S/C or T/C in a few months but now I just don't know. I think I'm fast enough with the Zex right now!

So how about it? Anyone else brave enough to add up their mods thus far?

I feel your pain brother!
I also have over $4100 into my car now and that isn't even counting the labor costs to have some of this stuff installed.
I believe it was Hamid that said there is no cure for the modding bug.
I am not married so I have no one to keep me in check except my empty wallet. I too think my car is great now but like others I am still looking for things to do. I'm not even close to thinking about a S/C after spending the money on the C&L but I am considering a PHP alt. pulley and dual exhaust.
We are sick, sick people!

This is a painful one to answer! I've spent exactly $4.87... but, I'm in heavy denial.

hmm... ok... I'll guestimate, since I don't have my receipts handy...

1) American Racing Casino Chrome wheels/Pirelli P-zero Nero tires $1500
2) JBA titanium finish, ceramic coated headers $640 + $250 for installation
3) JBA duals $560 + $150 for installation
4) C&L intake $300
5) SCT X-cal 2 from Bamachips $284
6) Motive 3.73 gears and Auburn limited slip differential $845 (including installation)

That's about $4538 in the hole. My only consolation is... I don't owe a darn thing on my ride... she's free and clear. But, now my inheritance cash is running low and I'm slowing down (honest!) with the mods. My wife and I just adopted a 5 month old pit bull/chocolate lab mix so a lot of my energy will be spent with her. But, I may still save my nickels for a supercharger...hehe... yeah... who am I kiddin'? I may slow down, but I won't stop...

ok... i'll ballpark it... I don't remember all the stuff or cost... but it should be close... Now this is the stuff currently on the car... there is a fair amount of money that was spent on mods that have been removed... LOL!

X-Cal2 - $400
C&L - $280
MRT exhaust - $225
Stripes - $500
Lighting - $500
Gears/Tlock - $900
Zex (complete) - $1200
Tires/wheels - $800
1/4 Louvers - $500
Rear Louver - $400
Hood scoop - $460
UPR stuff - $300
Midwest cover - $150
BMR LCAs - $280
MMR shocks - $150

So that $7045... That doesn't include pulleys, the MMR CAI, 2 other mufflers, lowering springs.... Then of coures there's dyno time... LOL!

Oh what the heck... let's look at the stuff that's laying in the car port... LOL!

MMR CAI - $350
H&R Springs - $250
ASP pulley - $280
Magnflow - $280
Flow-pro - $120

so that's another $1280... so figure a total of just over $8300...

Lets see $310 for C&L and $384 for SCT2, including shipping.
That puts me at a whopping $674.

Looks like I have some catching up to do eh?
