Just saw an ad for a V-6 Coupe new at a dealer for $18000.
What if somebody put together a really sick twin turbo that would make
about 5-600 HP? Take a little weight out of the car and you could embarass
some Cobra folks. I'd love to read about a $30 K V-6 that ran 10's and 0-60
in 4 sec.s(or less). Tell me why it's impossible....

 

its not but for that matter buy a $500 85 crx and spend $15000 on it and run 9's for $20k, its not always how much you spend that means everything, to get 5-600 hp out of the v6 you would probebly have to redo the entire engine to support the hp and tranny and rear end... by the time you are done changing the rear end and the tranny you might as well have started with a GT

 

Couple of holes in the logic....'85 CRX's make me start hair-balling(gag reflex).
31 spline rears aren't that scarce,should be able to find something reasonable.
Trans? T-5 should do it..not sure what bolts up though.
Somebody has a couple of Garretts lying around..E-bay?

$8k into the engine ,$1500 into drive train ,some wheels and tires...who knows?
It could be a real sleeper.
