I believe that redline is 5,950 RPM, with a cut-out shortly thereafter, and the weight is about 3,500 Lbm.

The redline is 5,850 and the cut off is 6100. Go to fordvehicles and download the PDF for the Mustang specs. It gives a baseline and tells you how much the options weigh. Short of weighing the car, I think this is the most accurate number.

Does that mean I can safely rev my car to 5,500? That should put me at 60 MPH in 2nd gear.

When scooting around town, playing with the G-Tech, or just smashing ricers, I shift mine at 6000RPM... Pulls hard all the way to this number.. Been shifting at 6000rpm from day one!

Just so you know, my best GTECH 1/4 mile is 14.86ET! 5spd Manual!

So if you can best this, I'm buyin the drinks!

This is of course without my T-LOK and 3.73's that have yet to be installed..

Hmmm..... I will have to see what I can do! Ordered the panhard bracket relocater an hour ago, have the T-LOK and girdle in hand. When they go on, I will add the MMR Intake and take her in for an SCT XCAL2 and tune. Will also get dyno'd and post results. Thought I would hold off on headers and duals until next spring/summer. But who knows... I am VERY impatient!

Where do I get a G-Tech? Don't know if I want the answer to that.... I have gotten attached to having a driver's license!!!

Also, can you post pics of the Girdle in the 7.5 thread please? Also, post a link to where you ordered it from.. I know where I am getting mine from, but maybe your's is cheaper than $140?
