Looks good man. I just did mine this past week.

but $400 shipped seems kinda steep dont it?

i paid $370 shipped for my gt front bumper w/ fogs and a harness from musclecardirect.

i actually didnt want to do fogs, but it was cheaper to get a gt takeoff bumper, then to find a v6 one and paint it.

Yeah that's a bit high for just the grill. I also did the GT front bumper conversion because it was cheaper.

I paid 390 shipped for bumper/grill and fogs.

Which item did you buy? I can't find it on their site. I see they have grill for 160, harness for 75 and then one would need to get the lamps for another 160. This all adds up to be over 400 with shipping. Could you give us a direct link? Thanks!

You know, I still am very happy with my Street Scene Grille. My own wiring harness also gives you the benefit of being able to turn-on the Fog Lights with just the parking lights on, or keep the Fogs on with the High Beams. Wiring instructions are here:

To install the Street Scene Grille, it took about a casual hour (not rushing, to be sure). To build your own wiring harness takes about 2 hours, again, at a leisurely rate.
I use the stock GT Fog Lights. Here is a picture of the Street Scene Grille installed (click to enlarge):

Of course I would have bought another V8 if it weren't for this:

The insurance for a V6 with a teen-age driver for me is just $467 per 6 months, and with my old supercharged V8 would have been a whopping $2,000. Plus, young son is less likely to succumb to the temptation of driving unsafely. The stock GT just has too much power to be safe in the hands of a teenager.
Obviously, you don't have a teenager at home.

I don't know about less likely to succumb to the tempation to drive unsafely. I had a 95 Ford Escort. It was stick but still only 88 hp. I was unable to resist the tempation. However, the fact that it was only 88 hp probably kept me from any major incidents when I did sucumb. So V6 is probably best for the teen.

Heck that's why I got myself a V6. I knew I wasn't ready for the GT to be my first rear driver... espcially in winter.

okay if a parent were to get a car for their kid under 20 thousand.. what are the options. you could a... get a front wheel drive sport compact with ****ty crash ratings/tiny motor/and looks like crap or b you could get a rear wheel drive mustang that looks sick with 5 start crash ratings. See my car was 23655 on the sticker, and my dad offered some crazy number...17 thousand
so we got my car for 17 with 0 for 36 (we took 1.9 for 60 bc it was only 800 in interest)
My dad also was like if you bought or i helped buy a used car youd have it then lets say some thing craps out on it and then HE would have to pay more than its worth to get it fixe just so i had a car to drive and it would just be a pain in the azz. That is why the v6 is a good car for a teenager. It also isnt crazy fast but its got some *****.
