I chose to buy my X-cal from Doug at BamaChips for a couple reasons: he is local, he lives just up the hgwy from me..and from what I could tell (by reading posts here) he gave excellent service and really knew his stuff. I was not let down. Yes to your second question... matter of fact I was installing the Afe CAI the very minute Doug drove up my driveway in his beautiful stang to hand deliver the X-cal and instruct me on how to install tunes. He went for a test drive with me around the area to see how the car reacted to the tunes. I highly recommend BamaChips. Service quality and expertise next to none. Thats very important to me.

Is there any hp gain with this exhaust btw?

I dont know... have not done dyno test. probably not going to.. better ways for me to spend money at the moment. I did however take a video of it but was not happy with the sound quality from my digital camera. So I was gonna go out and look for some decent digital audio recording device for another purpose but will be good for recording this exhaust sound for you all too. I did however notice scrmin's post on his MRT pipe. Looked great.
