flash tuning

Many of you are using SCT tuners but its my understanding that this kills your warranty.
Am I wrong about this? If it does kill your warranty why would anyone do it? Are you getting around it somehow?
Am I missing something here??

There are SEVERAL threads about this already.
Nothing Kills the warranty. The only thing that can possibly happen is a particular issue/repair be denied as a warranty. And that is only if the issue is related to the modification you peformed.
You can flash your car and then flash it back to stock. Some say the dealer can see this, while others say they can't. So far I have not seen proof either way.
It also depends on the dealer. I have heard some guys say it does not matter. Other dealers have a stick up their butt and look for a reason to deny a claim.
It up to you. Ask your dealer. Some poeple don't care about the warranty.
