Man.. thats a killer markup. If you were to do some shopping I could guarantee you could find it cheaper somewhere else. VERTS cost that much, screw it being a coupe. I dont really know what I can tell you in terms of negotiating that price down... Id explain to him that you dont want to pay near base price on a GT for v6 and that v6s are a dime a dozen right now. Shop around online and see if you can get a few quotes for comparison.

So, what u guys think about how much should be the price for this kinda v6 with all these options! And this is the only v6 that I can find which really has all the options that I want and i cannot find any other v6 anywhere else with all these options!

That is a lot for the V6 right now. My local dealer here in the 1000 Oaks area has a boatload of V6's on his lot and you should be able to deal down on that car. I paid sticker (ouch) for my Preimum GT last December (had to have it right then) with everything you've got on the 6 except for the Shaker 1000 (which I wouldn't pay the extra $1,200.00 for IMO) and it was only $27K......
I know you like that particular Stang with it's options - but be patient and look around some more - it can only end up getting you a better deal or giving you leverage to use in bargaining with your local dealer......good luck!

We paid 37k after taxes for our GT Vert. We got every up grade. Shaker, Chrom dash, tires the works. 24k doesn't sound that bad.

For my New '05 Screamming yellow V6,70 miles on odometer, power seat, black leatehr int., shaker 1000, ext. sport appr, auto... i only payed $21,000.. 2 grand under!! I also only paid $600 for the $1200 upgrd stero. Dealership only made a $600 profit. Did i mention it came straight off the show room?

There are a lot of factors that drive price. It might depend on where you live and the number of options. In my area, the V6 models have started to move. I'm guessing that the warm weather and the lack of V8's has something to do with it. It could also depend on a trade-in. Technically, I paid sticker price but there are not a lot of options in mine and I got an excellent price on my trade-in. It was also at the end of the month, so that's another variable.
All things considered, you'll probably have to work for a good price. I had one guy who insisted that I should pay sticker for a Legend Lime V6 DEMO with over 1,000 miles on it! After an hour of negotiations, he came down all of $500 and I walked. I thought that he would call me back, but somebody must have paid him sticker for the demo...

Killer markup?!?!?! I just priced this car on Ford's site and came up with $24,850.00 That would mean he's being asked LESS than MSRP. Now I'm not saying that he shouldn't deal and try to get that lower, but I don't think it's fair to call this killer markup.
A convertible with those options stickers at $29,575.00

It's the MSRP, I paid invoice for mine without a plan and without haggling for it either. There are dealers out there that put the customer first, and there are dealers that put there pocket book first.
