First off. &^%(*&@% gears make a big difference. Just amazing. The TT is great as well, let the clutch in, went to 5mph, and gave it 3/4. For the first time the car squeeled and accelerated at the same time, instead of just spinning in place.

It feels like im going to be able to gain 3-5 tenths in the quarter mile with these mods (not sayin i will, just feels like it). I highly recommend this mod to anyone. Total price ended up being $392+329.95 for the TT, gears, and installation, so i made out like a bandit (gears were givin as a promotion after i went to buy them). Even at an extra $200 for the gears, this is one of the best mods you can do. I know everyone says this thats done it, but WOW!

Fazm, I am so glad you love it!!! I know how you feel, to date, this is my favorite mod (gears and LSD). It makes it a whole new car. I can't wait to see what you do at the track. I'm sure you will be hitting low 14's on a regular basis.

So whats next? Surely the mod bug hasn't died yet, with your cobra needing a new clutch, I'm sure the six will get some attention. LOL.

Fazm... right on! 3.73's are such a great mod! And, any sort of limited slip is just essential once these rides are reflashed with a good tune. Glad you're diggin' 'em!

Lookin' foward to track season and seein' everyone's numbers!

Congrats dude! Hey, are you getting the "shuffle" noise at low speeds? What gear oil did you use?

I sent you a PM.... where'd you get the TT for that price?? I don't want to do my gears... just the TT.

The cheapest I can find it is at DTS, and that's for $409 shipped. Plus, they said it's gone up to $412 BEFORE shipping, yet they will honor their web price until they can get the webpage updated...

If you are JUST doin the TT, the install is quite easy to do yourself. No need to worry bout pinion depth as you do not remove it. I can walk you through it even if you wanted

I wish I had purchased this months ago. It just keeps climbing up.

Anyone thinking about getting one should jump on it. They're saying it's $412 now.

$412 + 5 handling + 20(est) shipping = $437

Fazm,

Awesome dude. I think the gears and TT should easily get you .3 to .5 sec in the quarter with a stick shift. This and a FRPP muffler will be my first mods.

After changing my differential fluid 10 days ago, I have noticed that my TrueTrac has continued to get more quite. I suspect that the Friction Modifier coated the gears, and that this coating is dissolving away into the stock Ford 75W-140 Synthetic Fluid.

Yup, get 4-5 quarts of it (2 for the install, 2 for the refill after break in period, and 1 just in case)
