Saw a clip of this flowmaster system online and it sounded pretty awesome. Wondered if anyone has heard it before or has it?

Sounds like a plan. To save money though, I'd start listening to a lot of clips...hopefully you'll like what you get the first time.

lol, Borla is my favorite as well. Like you mentioned, the price is the only thing holding me back. But I'd rather just wait til I can afford it, than buy something that I'll just end up selling later.

It depends on what your end goal is. I plan to eventually drop in a V8 (probably whatever the Cobra has in it at the time) along with everything it takes to not rip the rest of the car apart from the power. But I don't care to just trade in for a new one, cuz I'll be changing bumpers/suspension/wheels/everything anyway. So for the time being, I'm focusing more on appearance mods with possibly just a few engine mods.

But if you just want a little extra hp, you might as well just wait and get a GT.

I have that exact exhaust and I love it! At lower RPMs it's got a nice low rumble and when you get on it, it sounds great, granted it sounds like a nice V6. I put it on with some assistance from my wife, took us about 5 1/2 hours or so because in the instructions it says 'direct fit' and you're supposed to cut off 8" of the old exhaust piping for it to fit, we ended up having to cut off about 12-14". Overall though, I love the sound, and until I get on it people think it's a V-8, not what I was going for exactly, but whatever. I would have gone with a louder exhaust, but I'm in Germany, and there's a max dB of 95 for exhaust, these run at 93.2 with a tune and CAI.
