c&l question

does anyone know how and what i use to clean the filter on my c&l intake? do i need to buy a new filter? thanks for the help

Go to your local auto parts store and pick up a "recharge kit"... most like a K&N kit. It will have a cleaning solution and oil. Follow the instructions...

Yea I used K&N cleaning solution for my MMR intake and i'll use it for my procharcher cone filter too. Its all the same stuff.

yup... the K&N recharge kit will cost you about $10

Just follow the instructions and you should be good. Only one tip... less is more... don't over oil.. if it's dripping with oil, start over!

I had heard that............I guess it could mess up our MAF sensors right?

Cleaned and re-oiled mine with no problems......How often should these drop in filters be done?

Every 30-50K or so.
