Anyone running a stage 1 tune?
#1
I just checked my tracking number and my stage 1 JET tune is waiting for me at home I can't wait to try it out. I'll post tomorrow with my thoughts on how it did. Anyone tuned their's yet? What are your experiences?

Ok, so I got my JET tuner last night. It works a little different than most other tuners. It actually plugs inbetween the onboard computer and the wiring harness, which is located next to the fuse box under the hood. The unit actually stays plugged in. The install took about 15 minutes. I paid 200.00 for this unit. So as for the results:
I did see a little performance bump. The car pulls a little harder when your going wide open throttle.....nothing to write home about, but their is alittle difference. The dyno results I've seen on this tune are a gain of 18 rwhp. I would say that seems about right, cause remember, an extra 18 hp is equal to a hp bump of 9%. So really 9% is going to be noticable but you won't suddenly feel like your driving a GT or anything. A t-lok and 3.72 gears will probably knock another .5 sec off your 0-60 time. Those will be me next upgrades, and probaly my last.

Does the Jet tuner require premium fuel?

My exact question as well. Were you running 92 or higher with these improvements?
