Anyone in a HOT State with a Underdrive Pulley Kit? Good or Bad????

Hi guys I was thinking of getting a underdrive Pulley kit for my 07 v6. I live in So.Cal. and it
gets 105 Plus in the summers so I love my A/C will the Kit do anything to make the A/C
not work well? Will the Kit add any Wear and Tear to the car at all?

Would you say it's a good thing or bad thing to do for the car Long Term?

Is there any more upkeep to having a underdrive pulley kit as to keep the car
stock?

Plus if it is good is the Steeda kit a good kit?

Thanks for any info.

I have researched it and it looks like you will be fine. I have talked to other guys here in Arizona that have them and have no trouble at all.

I have a similar question regarding UPD, if I have two amps, and a 12" sub in the trunk will there be too much draw to keep the battery properly charged when using UDPs?

Thanks

Yes it doesn't keep the battery charged with UPDs?

have you had problems with this in the past? if not then you will be fine. think about it this way: if the alternator is turning at idle it is generating sufficient power to charge the system. when you drive around you are generally spinning the motor at an average of 3000 rpm. so you would need a hell of an underdrive to cause issues with the alternator. you will be fine.

Admittedly not as hot here, but I had them on during some 30c degree weather last year and have not noticed a lick of difference, my temp needle didn't make any mad dashes for the H so should be fine. I have the Steeda kit and they are a really nice part.
