I guess with my specialized drivers license, Nitrous is enough.. This ensures I have made myself aware of the situation, before I endanger my livlihood.. For most of you, its ok to get a ticket above 90+ MPH.. For me, its to risky.. I am expected to at all times be mindfull of all traffic laws.. Speeding for me is an indication of a lapse of judgement..
On a dailey basis, I must deliver and check to make certain JetFuel is delivered to the airports.. I am paid quite well for this.. Under these circumstances, nitrous is best for me, because it allows me to consider the risk.. If I had the turbo, I wouldnt have time to consider any of the risk associated with a high speed azz woopin I would hand out atleast once a day, to some unsuspecting Ricer, or Vette.. LOL!! I need something I must physically open the trunk and turn on.. Needless to say, an Automatic Bottle opener is something I will avoid!.. LOL!!

I completely understand about the restraint thing... That is why I'll never put a remote bottle opener in either...would be to tempting... I just tell myself to save it for the track! LOL! Of course around here I'm pretty much the fastest guy off the light without the nitrous... LOL

Sure this revelation on my behalf may stir up the pot alittle.. But this is my opinion which has been carefully thought out..
So this is my plan in short.. Finish up the rear-end first... Slap on the Drag radials, and drop in the nitrous.. Head to the track next season, and make videos of 11 sec V6 Mustangs on the juice! Pullin wheelies and such.. LOL! I'm pullin it up with the slicks Scrming!! With the 150Shot.. I will never run less than a 150Shot..
What I really want to do is put those aftermarket heads on from SuperSix Motorsports, and run a 200Shot!! LOL!!

This is what we need to do before next season begins Scrming..
Our most crucial endeavor is to get to the 1st 1/8 marker first.. That does not seem to be much of a problem.. What I am interested in is a Nitrous setup that can increase the shot after a certain speed..
Like this... I launch the car from the line with a 150shot of Nitrous to the 1st 1/8 marker.. I should be anywhere from 85-89MPH.. I want to find something that will increase the Nitrous shot from this point, to finish out the last 1/8th of the race..
Now with the Zex kit, I understand that it is setup to run jets only. Lets say for instance you had 2 Zex kits.. One kit is used for the 1st 1/8th, and one is used for the 2nd 1/8th.. Imagine this, In your situation, you launch with the 100shot, to the first 1/8th, and around the 2nd 1/8th marker in between shifts, you disengage the 100shot kit, and engage the 175shot kit.. LOL!! This way you dont put 175shot of stress on the drivetrain during the launch sequence.. But while your already rolling, the 175shot takes over and shoots you through the traps.. LOL!! Sounds bizzar huh? Well, I know there is a safe way to do it.. Worst case scenario is you accidently leave on the 100shot, and also engage the 175 shot, causing your car to actually disappear off of the track because it blew up so fast nobody seen what happen to you.. LOL!! So yes there is a risk invovled with this that we must make sure never happens...

Yeah, I have been kicking around the nitrous situation in regards to other power-adders for quite ahwile.. I actually do believe after all the numbers and research, that pound for pound, and dollar for dollar it cant be matched..

We better upgrade our brakes for a 2-shot nitrous sequence! Logically it should work, several people I talked to have a two step system for their turbos, first step is nitrous to get off the line until the turbo winds up...then it takes over from there.

Perhaps alittle advanced for us.. Possibly not needed.. I guess it depends on the 7.5 T-LOK and its Girdled reinforcment.. This will actully dictate whether this is a viable solution.. I would imagine though, the 2 stage system would be good for launching with a 150 shot, and finishing up with a 200shot..
We have a long way to go yet rygenstormlocke! Hopefully by next season, there will be more of us making passes at the track, and more R&D will be developed..
Hopefully, most can understand the need for this type of setup.. Again, for those that didnt read some of the other information.. Our V6's are very good at getting to the 1st 1/8th marker.. The problem is, we need to always get there first.. To get to the first 1/8th first, your RWTQ number is important.. To finish the race, which is the 2nd 1/8th of the race, you need RWHP... Our SOHC motors, with the stock cam, is setup to benefit from torque when using the Nitrous.. This is a good thing..
Like I said, the problem is, we may get run down by someone with 400RWHP+, if he has not beat us already to the 1st 1/8th marker.. The 2 stage theory is one that can help boost our HP numbers substantially after the 1st 1/8th marker, making it tougher for the other car to play catch up.. Of course this also lowers our overall ET..
Here is an example of a system which has our particular situation in mind..
Nitrous Express EFI Dual Stage Nitrous Systems
Selectable power to tame traction woes.
With a Nitrous Express EFI dual-stage nitrous system you can head off two potential problems. One is the hassle of plumbing a port-style system in an already-crowded engine compartment. The simplicity of these systems neatly takes care of that. The other is the potential for overwhelming your vehicle's traction with too much power. The dual-stage nature of these systems gives you a head start on that; plus, you can pick the power increase you get -- in 25-HP increments -- from 50 all the way to 300 horsepower. Kits include the nitrous bottle, dual "Shark" nozzles, solenoids, an extra-long stainless-braided nitrous supply line, solenoids, and all mounting hardware.
This is where we are headed guys!
Check out this Dual Stage system.. It also uses the TPS Wide open throttle system..

Actually I'm going to stick with my Zex... remember I'm normally at the cars shows all weekend, not the track... That being said, I think the Zex is much more appealing visually. May sound lame but that does have value for me... I mean that nice single purple box was meant to be shown off... not tucked out of sight like the other guys solenoids... LOL!
So for now I'll just figure out a different way to solve my traction problems! LOL!

You could put purple neon lights in your trunk to accent them, similiar to your dash. LOL. Actually it might be cool for a car show.
