Zex nitrous install pics (56k will have to make dinner).

Overall I was really impressed with the way Zex designed this for our cars. The NMU (Nitrous Management Unit) is able to sense bottle pressure in order to richen fuel or take it away where needed, so that the car never runs too lean or too rich. I also purchased the Traction Control Window Switch by them, which allows me to control at what RPM the nitrous engages and disengages, along with what gear(s) the kit sprays.

I purchased a Zex purge kit, bottle warmer, bottle opener, and blow down as well.

Zex NMU:

Nozzle:

Arming switch:

From top to bottom: Bottle heater, purge, bottle opener

Dad's Vette, engine bay shot, and our newly re-finished garage:

I will be getting the car tuned by John Lund in about two weeks. I plan on creating two seperate tunes. One for a 150 shot and one for a 100 shot.

Congratulations on the install, very clean. I installed my Zex kit a couple of weeks back and after a dyno tuning session hit the track. The nitrous was a great new addition - and took 0.7 off my time in crappy conditions. You will love it, when it hits the car will leap ahead.

How easy was the wiring part of it? I am considering buying the same setup, using a window switch and a NANO system.

Very easy. I'm really comfortable with wiring though. You just need to tap into the yellow wire on the TPS (throttle position sensor, harness to the left of the t/b), and the green wire of the coil pack on the driver's side fuel rail (closest to the firewall). It was very strait forward, and in theory, it's the SAFEST kits for our cars.
