XCAL2..What Tune? What Octane?

I am purchasing the JLt II combo from Doug...I only have 87, 89 & 91 Octane...What tunes do you suggest?

I see a lot have the Race tune and Love it...So I want the 91 Race tune and not sure about the other...Should I get all 91 tunes? Race, performance & torque? How is the torque and performance? Any suggestions would be much appreciated...

I am using 87 octane now and have no problem using 91 octane all the time...Just need some help on what to get...I want speed and off the line go...Thanks.

I have the 93 torq, and perf (also the 87 perf). I love the torq tune (I use it about 90% of the time). And since you are looking for 'off the line go' you will also. I feel like the perf tune is better at higher speeds but that could be in my head. But most off all you will love any of the tunes you get. Good choice going with Doug.

I have the 87 performance(just in case), the 93 torque, and 93 race(my favorite). I'd say you should go with 87 perf., 91 tq, and 91 race. You will not be disappointed. It really doesn't matter though, once you try the race tune no other tune will matter. I did a detailed evaluation on these a while back: http://forums.bradbarnett.net/showth...ighlight=tunes

either way i bet your number 1 tune will be the Race tune, i made the mistake of using the 93 race before the others, so when i tried the 93 Performance i felt disappointed because it felt a little like it was missing something at takeoff and i know if i use the 93 Torque tune it is going to be missing something on the topend so the Race tune is the best
