Question XCal Tune question...

I am going to be getting a JLT II CAI and tunes here probably in the next week or so, but have a quick question before I order... I have the FRPP X-Pipe that I want to install but may not get to it for a while (waiting for a buddy of mine to help me)... Once I install the JLT and tune, would I need another tune when I added the X-Pipe?

If so, I may just wait and do it all at the same time...

I do a few things differently to tune those with an offroad X, but the high flow catted will be the same.

Thanks for the responses guys! I'll move ahead with the CAI and tunes and get to the X-pipe when I get a chance!

I think it depends on whether the X-Pipe has cats or not. If it is an off road X, you might want to get the tune updated. If it uses the stock cats, no tune adjustment is necessary.

in his case, he has the frpp x-pipe, which just replaces the "h" portion but keeps the stock cats. so he will be fine.
