Anybody help with this? I'm adding interior footwell lights and have the overhead map light out. There are three wires leading into the map lights/switches.... 1) black appears to be ground, 2) Green/yellow stripe appears to be the hot wire for the map light switches and, 3) black/blue stripe appears to be the hot wire for the illuminated entry system.....can anyone verify this?

I have a Helms shop manual on order, but they haven't been released yet.

 

Just tested and found that I need to run one wire from the new socket into the Green/Yellow stripe and the other into the Black/Blue Stripe - the new bulb will now work the same as the illuminated entry functions with the new light!

That takes care of the footwell interior lights - now I'm headed back to figure out the glove box light!

By the way the overhead map light housing just pulls straight down - only attached with two clips.

I bought the helms DVD which has the wiring diagram, service manual and the Emission manual. It cost me 170.00

To get them in print these are the costs. They are all available now.

The wiring diagram is 60.00
Service manual is 145.00
Emission manual is 120.00

I talked to someone at Helm last week and they also said that this was the service manual, wiring diagram and emission manual all on one cd.
