the biggest issue you will have will be your a/f ratio...after installing the CAI minus the tune, the car will run lean...you COULD make it that far IF you DO NOT gun the engine or hit the nitrous button on the way to the shop...most will probably opt against it...but you gotta do what you gotta do...good luck

ya if i do the drive i wouldn't gun it or anything and prob wouldn't install the cai till i got there since it would prob take like 15 min at most to install... so that way it wont lean out as much and if im correct the long tube headers and o/r mid pipe will just make it richer.... correct?

Yea, I gree... if you took it real easy, you could probably do it. IMO, the only real issue is the CAI (I'm assuming you won't be squeezing either). Have you thought about doing all the mods except the CAI before the drive? Since it really only takes less than 1/2hour to install a CAI, you could do that when you get there. Also, to be extra safe, you could run the highest octane fuel (91/93) you can buy for the trip.

Just my 2 cents...

Yep, take your time, don't ever floor it, lay off the juice, and put on the JLT when you get there, 15 minutes, tops. Should be fine.

I would definately hold off on the CAI until I got my tune on the car. All that I have read and all "Big Air" flowing CAI intake installation instructions stress to get a tune to your 'Stang before driving.

Please post your dyno results. I am anxious to see how it all works together.

Longtubes and no cats made mine leaner.
Like everyone else has said, I think you would be ok with out the CAI till you got there. You will probably get some CELs though. Drive it easy. No wideopen.
