Whose tune are you running?
Go with Modular Depot. I am running one of Ken's tunes, and it outperformed all of the other tunes I was running. He also just came out with a new CAI package that has VERY impressive numbers!

I've gone through Brenspeed and Bama mailorder tunes, and my car has been custom tuned by Manny at HPP Racing, and Doug at Bamachips. I have to say, that all the tuners I've been through did a great job, Doug just stood out from the rest. HE IS THE ONLY PERSON I KNOW OF WHO CAN PROPERLY TUNE A CAR WITH AN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION! Now, If I had a manual, any of the tunes would have worked out fine. I'd probably be cruising with my HPP tune, but like I said, Doug can tune the hell outta these auto's! Of course, I hear that JDM can do some insane stuff with the auto's too, but I'll hit them up when my blower is on and they got their shop down in Houston set up.
So my personal preference is Doug! BAMACHIPS FTW!!

I use Bamachips tunes.
As far as I know, Doug is the only tuner offering remote custom tuning.
What I mean by that is, if you purchase a canned tune, the tune may not be as close as it could be. None of these engines are exactly the same when it comes to a canned tune.
After you receive the tune and dump it in the car, drive it for about a week. Then datalog critical input points while driving normally (closed loop). Take the datalog file and email it to Doug, he examines the datalog and makes corrections to your tune and emails your new tune back to you. This method is engine / transmission specific. This, in my mind, is a true custom tune in the real driving world.
Another benefit to this idea is, lets say your at the drag strip and you datalog a pass. If you have a laptop and the dragstrip has WIFI, you email the datalog to Doug and ask him to check out your pass and to make adjustments as necessary. He makes the adjustments and emails the tune back, you make another pass. This whole concept is priceless.
It really doesnt matter where Doug is for this to work, he can plug his cell phone into his laptop. Just needs a little notice.
This is the way my car has been tuned and wouldnt have it any other way.
Did I mention, I like Doug and his tunes.

Bama 93 Perf on the street, and 93 Race at the track... The 93R with a C&L racer allowed me to pick up 4/10ths over the previous best with a VERY well known tuner's efforts with their proprietary intake/CAI. Doug absolutely rocks!!
