your supose to buy expensive houses and cheap cars..... I've only been able to get that half right.
I want to add a turbo to mine. I don't plan on selling it untill a year or two after the new body style hits. Hopefully I'll be able to get half my cash back when I sell what ever mods I take back off before I sell the car.

Talking Mods-Cost haven't even kept up with it

Well I bought my 05 GT on x-plan in October of 2004. Mods listed, I guess I am like everyone else. Owning a Mustang is an ever evolving process.

This was my mid-life crisis purchase and the fun is priceless. I hope this is the last Stang I ever buy, but really want a Shelby GT, just don't see the bang for the buck........

Next project is a over the top Shelby style stripe kit and hood pins, waiting till it gets a little warmer to put on.

Just my thoughts

So far $27,740 with several options included plus about 4500 to date in mods. No power yet, but I keep thinking about a Whipple. I told my boss I would need about $13k to get it where I wanted it ... still cheaper than a GT500, I have it now and personally I don't love all the styling mods on the GT 500.

Great deal on Roush as I work for a dealer, but still paid $29,500+tax for the car.

Intake/tune $570
Gears/install $575
Bassani X w/cats(used)/install $350
Rear Lowering springs $130
UDP's/install $350
Stage 1 Wheels/tires (great deal) $600
CDC Seq. Tails $160
Mid. West Auto Inserts $80

Almost 3k in mods, and now I am about to spend $800 just to have a cool hood!!

$27,000 and change when ordered. All listed mods equal $7000 and change. Total - $34,000 and change. I'm still hoping a Whipple will work out. That will put me over $40K. I did sell my original front facia and orig. wheels and tires so if I deduct that I'm probably $800 below the $34,000 price.

Hey, GRAYPNY! I'm 48. I started to get some facial wrinkles, so the old mid life crisis thing kicked in ! Went to a cosmetic surgeon got a few Botox injections! I had a bit of a allergic reaction but over all I think it helped! what do you think!....not bad! for all most 50!!
