I might be interested in getting a tune from them, not bad for $75.

My biggest question is did it improve the throttle response? I'm curious to see which Diablo Predator tuner like DTP knows how to improve the throttle response like the popular SCT tuners here on the board.

Throttle response is good, my only complaint is that with their tune(s) when you take your foot off the gas, the car doesn't slow itself down well, or at least not as well as the stock tune does.

If you have different size tires, make sure you tell them to leave the wheel rotations/axle sizes unlocked so you can make changes to them on the fly with your predator.

Dustin,
Make the switch!!!! I have an auto and messed with the Predator for 6 months. Went with Lidio from AA. I know his speciality is auto's but I think you can do better with Lidio, Doug, or Brent. Diablo just doesn't seem interested in really fixing their throttle responce issue.
Just my 2$ Get away from the fit everything canned tune.

Well I want to keep the Diablo because well it was a gift and it doesn't make sense to buy another one.

I understand Dustin, Then I would just suggest you try to find a local Diablo tuner that can tweek the Dialbo tune to suit you.

I use DTP's predator tunes and really like them. Throttle response is great IMO. I thought about changing over to SCT, but I'm willing to bet I would notice little to no difference and definately not worth hassle or money to do so.

see I can get a dyno tune anywhere using a predator but nobody knows how to mess with the throttle unless you go to a specialist who knows what they are doing

Same thing for their SCT tunes. Great throttle respone on the way up, but the factory throttle hang remained.

I believe what he means with the throttle hang is that when you take your foot off the gas, the car doesn't slow down right away, it takes a bit then you feel the engine slowing down the car.

What I meant in my reply was that the throttle hang was worse with the DTP tune and the car slows down with the stock tune better than with the DTP tunes that I have.

The throttle hang issue is disappointing.

There is no need to make a switch, just find a good Diablo Tuner. It just so happens that we have a handful of SCT Tuners on these boards but the software for both Diablo and SCT control the same things within the Spanish Oak. One handheld is not better than the other IMO.

Anyways, if you work with Brent @ DTP he'll get you a tune you can be happy with. I actually spin my tires between first and second while going uphill, chirping is weak.
