Who thinks they have the loudest exhaust setup?

I'm running SLP L/T's, O/R X Pipe, Magnapacks, also have a D1SC and Comp Stage 4's adding to the noise. My car is ridiculously loud and still sounds great. Who else thinks they have a loud car?

It's possible, but my magnapacks do very little to quite down what would be open headers like your cutouts.

Right now I have open exhaust manifolds as I've removed my stock cats and H-pipe. If I started it, I imagine it would be pretty dam loud (if it would even run).

"Your car doesn't even have a tone. It's just 8 cylinders of F*ing loud."--Matt Hayes That quote in your sig cracks me up everytime I see it

However, I still think when I started the car up with stock manifolds it is just about as loud as it will ever get.

I think my Borla set up is loud as hell. Borla LT's, o/r x, over axles, and stingers. I want a stage 3 or 4 cam next but an h would also make the system louder.

I would have NEVER posted in this thread, but now since my American Racing Long Tube headers install, with H-Pipe, and Borla Stingers, my exhaust sound isn't too shabby! Want proof, just ask CR!!!

Last weekend I was in a parking garage at a casino, and opened the cutouts in there. Yikes! Sounded like an orchestra of car alarms. ahaha

My guess is that cutouts right after the headers (or open headers) would be louder than letting the exhaust run through the pipes, even if there isn't much there to purposefully muffle the sound. The pipes them selves, the X, and any type of muffler would probably deaden some of the sound.

Exiting out the back instead of dumping after the firewall is probably sounds more tolerable inside the car as well. Dumping bounces the sound back off the ground.

i would have to say that a supercharged free flowing exhaust like Don's cutouts would be the loudest, but i can say from personal experience of driving next to my car that it is LOUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, here's mine. American Racing L/T headers and catted X-pipe with SLP loudmouths (not to mention C&L CAI, CMCV delete and Steeda UDPs)

The vids don't really do it justice.
