wheel spacers?
does anyone know anything about wheel spacers? currently have 18x0 american racing torq thrust IIs on the front of my mustang, they fit no problem. i bought a set of 18x10 deep dish bullits, and the front ones need like 1/4" more clearance to fit without hitting the strut. if i got a 1/4" spacer, would this work? i have heard bad things about wheel spacers. also, i would need to change the wheel bolts correct? and then to go back to the stock rims i would have to change the bolts back again? thx for the help!

Nothing wrong with high quality, machined, hubcentric wheel spacers. Especially the TUV approved ones. Porsche, BMW, offer them through their accessory catalogs right from the dealer up to 1/2" thick at times.
Porsche even used really thick H&R spacers on widebody 911's right form the factory at one point.
Cast spacers that are not hubcentric, with universal bolt patterns, are a no no.
Try, H&R, eibach, or maximum motorsports.
With a 1/4" spacer, you may not even need hubcentric ones providing the hub on the wheel extendso out far enough.

They should be fine. Just make sure that the hub portion of the car extends past the wheel spacer sufficiently to still be hub centric.
Also, you need to make sure that you still have at least 1/2" of stud thread sticking past the wheel for the lug to grab once installed. You should be able to figure this all out with a ruler before hand.

The spacers themselves do not bother me. The fact that the tires are prob going to stick past the fenders and look like dung is more concerning to me.
Why run 10" up front? Seems like an alot of rim for the front of the car.
