Wheel Offset Needed?

I was wondering what the offset is on your 18X9 front wheels?

I guess it might depend on the wheel but my friend has the same wheels as me and his front offset is +35 and mine is +44. This was suggested per Raceline. I don't know if I'm still getting used to the 18 wheel as opposed to the 17 but it seems as though the front tends to float around some. I drove it over 100 miles today and was wondering what other people's offsets were?

I can tell you that I believe the wider tires seem to float a little more than the stockers. They can get in a crack in the road and do that following thing they do. It's not bad but noticable.

I'm running +24 on the 18X9s and the 18X10s , the tracking and floating issue is supposed to be helped with the bumpsteer kit, so I have heard

I don't think I need that but I did lower the tire pressure from 36 to 32 and I'll see how it handles tomorrow. I figure if the tires are inflated to 36 cold they probably are running at around 40 once they heat up. Probably too much air for the tires.

Just curious, why so much air pressure (running at triple digit speeds aside)?
