Kenne Bell 2.6L Big Bore

Bigger than Saleen or Whipple (2.6L > 2.3)
Bigger means:
Fewer rpm's for same boost
More effecient
Less heat because it spins slower,
Lower parasitic loss (less engine HP to spin),
More boost potential (25psi compared to 14-15 for the Saleen before effeciency is an issue),
More HP potential,
Saleen doesn't come polished.
IAT is downstream of intercooler for more accurate readings, Whipple is still way up by the air filter.
True Cold Air Intake, doesn't suck hot engine air.
Don't need a crowbar, 5# sledge, dented firewall, or lowering mounts to install (most Saleens)
Any tuner can custome dyno tune it, don't have to mail off your PCM or have Ford dealer flash it back to stock or worry about getting stranded when your tuner trys to tune it (Whipple).
Billet aluminum construction, stronger than cast (Whipple and Saleen)
Costs less than the Whipple and less than a JDM Stage 1 or 2 Saleen kit

Also, do a search, lots of threads on this subject already.

I like the kenny bell, but I have the Saleen and I love it too. I think for the guy that will never push more then 10 or 12# of boost it is the best one on the market!

Saleen.
- Stealth OEM look
- relatively quiet
- instant torque
- enough potential for any street driven car

I think the KB is actually quieter, but I wouldn't buy one primarily for personal reasons.
I LOVE the Whipple kit...I think it is the most complete package out there. However, it is also one of the loudest and since stealth is a priority for me it's out. I really was sold on it until I heard that stupid "slide whistle" sound it makes. Some guys love the noise though, and it is hard to argue with the whipple's results

You really can't go wrong with any of the three. You just have to prioritize what is important to you (Cost, looks, sound, etc).

The FRPP/Whipple High Output Supercharger puts out amazing power and my "canned" tune was spot on after Dyno runs at SLP Motorsports here in Toms River.

Paxton Novi 2200 from Brenspeed. He has tested it on his vehicle and has installed many of these around the country, his reputation and recommendation of the Paxton is good enough for me. 440 rwhp 9 psi.on an a/t.

I like my KB for many of the same reasons Hatchman listed. And one other big one for me. I change pulleys quite often; and it takes me 3 to 5 minutes to do it. And I can run anywhere from 8psi to 12psi on the same tune and the same belt... with just a 3-5 minute pulley change.

Now that's just plain silly... Have you ever heard of anyone sucking water up into the intake? You'd have to drive through a puddle a foot deep to even be slightly concerned.
