What's Next?

Well I think this is pretty much going to wrap up the mods for me. The car is running great and IMO looks good too. I'm going on vacation next week and dropping my car off at Cali HP Addict's house so he can install these last additions. It should be fun picking up the car with these new mods and driving it home.

1. Saleen twin dash pod
2. Oil pressure and water temp gauges
3. Raptor shift light w/Cyclops adapter (ala TacoBill)
4. Prothane motor mounts
5. JBA shorty headers

Well first things first.........

Have a great vacation! Enjoy yourself, your family, etc. !!

Now, your next vacation is on me- providing you don't do ONE MORE MOD to your car...... ! Face it, the debth of your addiction is bottomless; just embrace it and learn to enjoy it for what it's worth. Done with mods? Yeah, right.....

Have a good time Rich, post when you return and let us know how you like those new mods.

I am seriously going to "try" and call it quits after these are done. It's time to enjoy the car and stop thinking about what to do next.

Have a good vacation. Keep us posted on how you like the headers. I have the same exhaust you have, so I'm interested in any gains with the headers.

Done? That remains to be seen. Those headers look sweet! What did you decide on for gaskets? Looking forward to Tuesday!

Decided to go with these. Remflex graphite/foil gaskets guaranteed not to leak and good to 3000 degrees. Part #RF3027

Gray, We all know you are an addict, SO you will NOT quit thinking of new mods. It's like getting married and saying you will NEVER drool over another woman!! It doesnt happen......(drool is open for interpretation)

I'd be interested in seeing some pics of the Saleen twin dash pod after you pick up the car. I'm considering that same mod.......

Maybe with a pair of AeroForce Intercepter Scan gagues on mine.......

OK I'm back from vacation and Ryan did an awesome job on installing the mods. Here are some pictures. The headers made the exhaust alittle deeper and really woke everything up when you stomp on it.

Thanks Scott

Well my wife and I went to Seattle for our vacation and had a great time. Now we are going to save up for a cruise to Alaska next year! Vacations CAN be expensive!

Ooooh...the wife and I want to do that cruise to Alaska before we get to old to get off the boat and walk around the glaciers. We priced it last year for a 2 week cruise. With airfare to British Columbia and back plus the cruise was going to cost 15K-18K minimum. That's why I am taking shorter trips this year. That is a once in a lifetime trip. Hope you make it soon!! WE have to save a few more years.

Scott

Was wondering if that time has already come Scott??

Glad you like the mods Rich, let me know in a couple of weeks of driving what you think of the Saleen pod. I've had mine for a month now and haven't decided whether or not to install it.

I like the pod but it doesn't sit quite flush with the dash in front. I'll see if it settles down after it has been in the heat for a couple of days, if not I will probably try and get some sort of adhesive under there. Another thing is that it doesn't really match the dash because the top of the dash is sort of grainy looking but if I had to do it all over again I would still go ahead and install it. Personally I think that little dip in the dash begs for some sort of pod.
