What's the latest on the Predator/K&N tune?

I know that a few of the shops here in Minneapolis have suggested that I go with a K&N CAI and predator tuner and then get a custom tune done by them.
Think this is better or just go out and get the C&L and predator? Or C&L + SCT or K&N + SCT?
