Whats the Best looking / Sounding Stainless Muffers out there ? ? ? ?

Looking for something about as load as the GT Mufflers maybe alittle
deeper.

But you do see the mufflers very well on the car so I'm looking
for something that looks very good as well like polished Stainless?

What do you guys think?

I think the magneflow are like that? Are they any good? Not to load?

What make and model do you guys think is best?

I've got the FRPP\Borla Stingers and I couldn't be happier with them, Stainless and they even have the Ford Racing logo on them... :-) They will surely put a rumble in your gut....

You should read the huge Exhaust thread that pretty much covers all options out there.

I've had several including Bassani, Corsa, SLP, and Borla.

I've ran the Borla for over a year now, if that says anything.

I think Pypes makes a stainless muffler that sounds good. Here is a link.

You are right, the magnaflows are stainless and do look good..They aren't too loud but have a very nice deep growl..they sound nice at WOT..if you want to hear some different pipes try a serch on utube, there's tons of mustang sound clips...as for the magnaflows i have the muffler style, not the magnapacks which are round tube style and I'm very happy with them, drone is minimal and only irritating at 1800-2000 rpm (not in that range much)..they have a very nice finish and tips are nice lookin...good luck

I've got the Magnaflows and they do sound good. I am switching in favor of Boomtubes. I want a louder sound out of the car. Had the Mags since new & they have gotten very little louder in 10K miles. Excellent quality, drone almost unnoticable.

you will be pleased w/ the boomtubes, i had them paired w/ a prochamber(loud&deep), but now have an off-road x, and it's the best i've heard. i've had pypesmid-muff, imco extreme, and slp's. oh yeah ..... pypes straight pipes. my s197 has reminiscent of a 03/04 cobra at wot.

I went for the Magnaflows last year and am very happy with them. The tend to wake up the neighbourhood. Can't see the need to have a louder exhaust, but to each their own.

Hi Ray,
I have been eyeing the Magnaflows for awhile. A couple of questions for you. First, do you know if they are made from 304 SS or 409 SS? 304 won't rust and 409 will rust. Second, are you still running the stock cats? I have longtubes and am running the GTA's but they cackle pretty bad. I just want something that won't drone with my present setup. Any help would be appreciated!!
Scott

Scott, I think the regular Magnaflows would be a good bet for you.

+1 I have run these for over 2 1/2 years now and love them.
They woke up even more since I added the Super Charger.
Only other exhaust mod that I have is the Magnaflow High Flow Catted X-pipe.
I have some sound clips, some on dyno and some on the road.
Email me if you would like me to send them.
