Just curious to see what everyone is running in their mustang an why.

Currently I'm running a bama 93 hybrid tune an haven't looked back to anything else even as a daily driver! Its given me the best of both worlds with high end and low end power. Is a tad sensitive but you get use to it.

I have both Brenspeed's 93 octane and American Muscle's 93 tune. Both are great. AM's tune is in the car at present. Very aggressive on my auto trans is why. Me likey.

had tillman tunes 93 street race then went with AM tunes after I added my headers currently running 87 emissions testing tune which by the way flunked the emissions test.... I was running the 93 performance tune prior to having to go get tested.

Oh yea def make sure you run the tune for a week of driving because the computer needs to go thru a bunch of on/off cycles to be ready for emissions. I had that issue earlier this year when I added a tune right before my inspection.

200+ in a week to and from work along with other short trips. results showed cat not ready, evap control sys not ready, heated oxygen sensor not ready. I think the test looks for the cats before they are ready because of the delay within the tune from the sensors being farther down stream because of my headers. I called am and they said it should have passed but sent me another tune. I haven't tried that tune yet. I transfered the car to a family member so I will have at leaset another year before I have to deal with it again

Glenn,

I'm sorry to hear your car didn't pass emissions the first time around. It sounds like my Bama team already got you set up with a revision with the necessary changes! Let me know if you have any questions or need any further assistance!

My Stang is a five speed and I run Bamma hybrid 93 tune. I ran the 93 Race tune for about a year and it was good, but this new hybrid tune is GREAT. I really can't say enough good things about it! I have had it for about 3 weeks and I still love it. CAI and a short shifter are my only other mods.

Only prob is that my emission light is on which I will be contacting soon about, but was expected with - throttle body,CIA,pulleys,3:73,, long tube headers, off road h pipe , pypes muffler delete kits and ford hot rod cams with a 93 race tune. But like I said before my highway gas mileage is still 24 somehow

What performance can you report of the 89 tune? Is there much of a difference between 87?

Yeah you get the street low end torque combined with race high end torque. Which is why its called hybrid, combination of the two. Not fuel efficiency lol yeah its part of bama free tunes. Just add in the comments section of the form that you want the 93 hybrid tune. They'll set it up for you.

I run the Bama Hybrid tune too. I have actually ran it at the track after runn ing the race tune and it was .2 seconds and a few mph slower than the race tune. It is amazing on the street though.

Yeah I heard somewhere else aboutbit being just a slight bit slower. But since my driving is done on the street, its a winner.
