What size is this fitting on the intake tube?

If you're referring to the stock intake tube size Jon ? it's 80mm in diameter..As for the fitting itself ? I'm not really sure, but I thought it was also the same size

I'm talking about the fitting that points downward in the picture. There is a hose that slips onto it.

oh ok..you mean the plastic reducer tube right ? yea there's a hose that attaches to it, and the other end goes into the crankcase..Anyway I agree with Steven on the 1/4 or 5/16 size..

It's 3/8", but it's a custom fitting made for Ford.
3/8 hose will fit on the end of it.

So what are the aftermarket CAIs using for that fitting? Can I take the OEM fitting out and put it in an aftermarket inlet tube?

Most aftermarket CAI's have their own fittings already molded into their inlet tubes..The Steeda inlet tube on the other hand ? does require re-using the stock fitting..However ! it's a royal pain in the a$$ when it comes to removing the stock reducer fitting, from the OEM inlet tube..
