Just curious on what everyone's oppinion is on which power adder will get you the most power and net you the quickest times for a daily driven car that will see the drag strip on occasion. S/C or T/C?

Turbo if tuned properly, otherwise twin screw.

You've got a big 'ol turbo now- what are you considering?

why not ask for people to post timeslips of their stock motors and see who is really fastest rather than elicit opinion and speculation?

Well a turbo does not load the crank, while at the same time giving support to the rods. Which means the engine will actually last longer using a turbo. Also since there is no parasitic loss with a turbo, you get a higher percentage of actually created HP transferred to the rear wheels.

So not only will a turbo make more useful power at the tire, but also is more beneficial for the engine, thus allowing the engine to last much longer than the other choices.

Your setup is perfect! Your a genius!

I will tell you one secret to making the highest power PH Turbo setup at any PSI.

Modify your turbo plumbing so that you can install longtube headers into the setup. This will give you increased length primaries, thus speeding up your exhaust, and allowing the already spent exhaust to escape the heads quicker. This will lower combustion chamber temps, spool the turbo faster and make more HP and TQ per psi of boost.

This will also move your TQ band back in the RPM and will lessen your 60ft, since you will have more available TQ to use at lower RPM's than with your shorty headers.

Don't tell anyone I told you this secret of increased length primaries. Keep it to yourself!

Did you upgrade the trans and rearend of the car any? If not, just wondering how it is holding up to that kind of power?

No I still have the stock transmission, and stock 7.5 rear axle. This is why I don't switch to drag radials at this point. There is still to my knowledge no available aftermarket tranny for the SOHC 4.0, besides upgrading the existing gears. I am of the viewpoint the V6 should remain with a 7.5 rear-end to keep it true to its V6 heritage. I got to give a GT Mustang some type of advantage. I think its only fair that I keep the weaker of the two available options. LOL!

Seriously, I am more into keeping the V6 with V6 only parts. Thats my angle. I would love to have 3.55's though!

Also they are holding up great since I just run street tires..

I believe the fastest is Mike @ Powerhouse. He ran low 10's on the stock block. There is a guy with a Paxton that ran mid 10s on the stock block.
