What is the loudest exhaust that sounds good at the same time without changing the headers yet?

open , just run headers to an x pipe with no cats and end it there, no mufflers, it will sound like a top fuel car but it will be the loudest

Ya, I'd like to know too .. I want a mean sounding exhaust with plenty of growl.. I just don't want what those pathetic kids have now on their civics.. It sounds so low and deep that it actually sounds like the car is underground.. HORRID !!

The Bassani's are the meanest I've heard....They are by far the throatiest and best I've heard in person or on video clips....I've heard the Flowmasters, Magnaflows, and Magnapacks in person and am glad I purchased what I did.........I can only assume that the performance gains (if any) are pretty similar across the board on all of them....For sound alone, I think the Bassani's are the best....The shop I got them from sends people by my house to hear them who are insterested and EVERY person that's come by has smiled and bought the same package within a week.....proof positive right there....

JBA in my opinion. Loud enough to set off alarms in a parking garage but without the drone that I had with previous MAC Prochamber/Produmps. I get comments all the time about how awesome it sounds, even from the Chevy crowd.

I see that you have the x-pipe and exhaust, but have you heard the Bassani axle backs? I'm wondering if they sound as good. I'm in the decision making process right now and appreciate your input!

That's what I have actually Tom...axle back muffler setup....they fit up nicely and could easily be done by an individual...the x-pipe required a lift and cutting so I had it all done at once by a local speed shop....You won't be sorry Tom....Myself and like 6 others are meeting up next Saturday....I'll have Bryan (2005Redgt) or Todd (Madhouse) get some idle and acceleration vids of them for you so you can get a better idea....I'm sure the vids will be up by Saturday night....hope that helps bud....talk to ya soon!

Well, there's the first set of runs, not much of a listen to the Bassani's at idle, rev, and take off for now, but it gives ya some idea anyway....I think Todd would be willing to help on a new set this Saturday.....check back for it......later...
