OK I dont see this question anywhere so here goes. I am just curious what kind of gas milage we are all getting. I have been running a steady 19.3 MPG on regular, but with my last tank Im now at a steady 20.3. I have a stock Torch Red( the fastest color by the way).I have never had any other Mustangs before, never had any sort of performance car actually, mainly just trucks and junk. I read about all the engine mods everyones doing , but with regular gas hitting $2.30 a gallon average across the country, I cant see how I can afford to mess with that kind of gas millage on regular. I mean 20.3 MPG on regular with 300 hp is pretty dang awsome to me

HAHA I've only had my car since Friday, only 148 miles on it and avg 13.3 MPG No mods but ALOT of quailty time... drving like I stole it. Anyways I expect it should go up when I let up. Not sure if the red is "faster" but Silver sure is Quicker.

I'm right at 19.0 mpg with pretty much all city driving. Pure highway (at 80mph or so) comes in at 24+ mpg. I'm sure my milage would go up if I kept my foot out of the silly thing...

I'm getting right at 20.1 MPGs overall for the past 1900 miles (20.6 for the past 500 miles or so). I don't drive it hard, get on it just every now and then and only briefly; usually try to drive it steady and efficiently.
I'm content just knowing that I have all the power I need whenever I want it (and more power than most cars on the road today---not too many cranking 300 HP these days). Sort of like the black belt in karate who never gets in a fight, b/c he knows he can kick butt so he doesn't have to prove it to anyone....

22.1 currently (last 3 fill-ups). That's some spirited driving, some highway driving (I usually get around 25 on the highway, going 75 MPH. This is without the HCT and with a K&N drop-in filter.
Also, I filled up today at $1.90 (prices maybe on the way back down?)

Well looks like most of us are getting prewtty good gas milage in the 18 - 20 mpg range. I thinks thats pretty dang good for 300 hp . I guess we all have a similar problem we want the good mpg, have to keep out of the pedal, but when I head for the on ramp, I hit the gas, in 3rd or 4th , 30 to 80 in seconds , 50000 rpm , time to up shift and slow down. But its so dang fun and sounds soo good!! One day coming home I did that and a yellow Mustang way back in traffic saw me , he came from way back, I was doing like 78 so he was hauling **** way faster to catch me, he came up beside me I guess for a look over, then took the next exit. :worship:

My display keeps showing around 14.8 and I don't think I am getting on it "THAT" much. Of course I have done no highway driving to bring the average up. It's still in the break-in period as well so hopefully the miles will start to come as the weather gets nicer here. No engine mods as of yet.

Be sure to reset your MPG counter... no telling what they were doing with it before the car got to you.
Averaging 14.2 MPG right now on premium gas at an average speed of about 24 MPH. No engine mods, and I'm not stomping on it THAT much. Lots of stop and go California traffic, even on the freeways, and the occasional late-night high-speed highway sprints.
